This Combo can be powered in 3 different ways:
Powered by Winding — Unfold the handle from the side of the radio and rotate in one direction. The red “Charge/Power” light on the front of the radio will glow indicating proper winding operations. After 90 seconds of winding, the radio will play for about 20 minutes.
Powered by Charging Adapter—(optional accessory not included) 
Powered by Computer —Apply the included USB to tip cable with another USB to USB cable, you can charge this gadget using your computer.
TUNING
The Combo features 3 bands: AM, FM,Siren
1. Select band by positioning the “AM FM SIREN” switch.
2. Adjust TUNING knob to desired frequency. 
3. Adjust volume by rotating the VOLUME CONTROL knob
